I recently purchased Clinique Acne creams from Amazon and I ordered for 3 sets which cost a total of $260 and weighed a total of 4.40 pounds according to what it read after being received at my US warehouse. The shipping weight for a single unit listed on Amazon was 3 pounds and I was expecting the total weight for 3 units to be 9 pounds but fortunately for me, after it arrived at my US address, it checked in with a total weight of 4.40 lbs.

After it arrived my US address, I got an email from my US shipping agent that I had a package. I also confirmed the package by logging into my online shipping account and verifying that it had the same tracking number as what I ordered from Amazon.

The next step was to ship it to Nigeria and know how much it was going to cost me. I noticed that the total 4.40 lbs would cost me about $100 by DHL to send to Nigeria within 5 working days and that brings my total cost to $360 before any unforeseen custom duties which I'm not yet sure I'm going to pay.

I had enough money in my bank and so chose to do shipping by initiating a shipping request to my agent from my online account and I'm expecting to be charged an equivalent of that international shipping cost on my Naira debit Mastercard.

I chose to buy 3 sets of the cream rather than just 1 because if I had just shipped 1, it would cost me more per unit in terms of the international shipping cost and so I've always known that it's better to buy items in bulk rather than single units if you are shipping it with an international courier company like DHL.
