Can Nigerians withdraw from Paypal?

As it officially stands now, Nigerian are only allowed to withdraw from Paypal is they have a Paypal account in any country where withdrawal services are working.

As at the time of writing this post, Paypal doesn't allow Nigerians withdraw to a Nigerian bank account but only allows them to send money only thanks to the fact that they've partially opened their doors to Nigeria. This does not however mean that Nigerians are not allowed to operate accounts in any other country where they can prove they have residence.

A Nigerian resident in the USA is allowed to have a USA based Paypal account and then be able to use it anywhere he is in the world to make withdrawals but his account might be limited if he tries to make a withdrawal if his IP address has changed and might just need to show further proof to Paypal before his account will be freed.

So, Nigerians are allowed to withdraw from Paypal as long as they have a bank account they can withdraw to in a Paypal withdrawing country like the USA, UK, China, South Africa and so on. However, when it comes to making withdrawals, one must at least ensure that the country of the bank he is withdrawing to matches the IP address he is using to access his Paypal account with.

If you are withdrawing to a US bank account for instance and you are using a Paypal USA account, then you need to ensure that your IP address is also in the USA and not Nigeria since withdrawals are not available in Nigeria yet and so might lead to your USA account being limited if you use a Nigerian IP address.

If however, you have a USA or other Paypal withdrawing country account and somehow find yourself in Nigeria but want to make withdrawals without getting your account limited, you'd need to first get a US IP address and a US bank account you can use for that.
