I normally recommend people to get a US mail forwarding membership account if they are interested in buying things on US shopping webistes from Nigeria. This is because msot of those US websites don't offer direct shipping to Nigeria or other countries like India or Kenya. If you want to shop on those websites, you would need to at least have a US shipping address but you can always use your locally issued debit/credit card for making payments since they are accepted by Amazon.

When visitors click through the links I've provided in order to get a mail forwarding service, they are normally taken to another websites where they can sign up for an account. They would also have to decide on which membership account or plan to go for since these mail forwarding service providers tend to have more than one plan.

It's ideal for people who shop on US websites multiple times in year e.g. more than 5 times. It's also good for people who want to consolidate their items together before shipping it as a single unit to their final destination.

Also, with MyUS, shipping costs tend to vary depending on your membership plan. The Premium 1 year plan tends to cost less on shipping costs than the Standard pay as you use plan and you can even use the shipping calculator to confirm. I just used it now and noticed that to ship 10kg of items to Nigeria would cost me $236 using the single user $10 membership plan. However, the same kg costs just $197 under the Premium membership 1 year plan. That's a savings of $39 for a 10 kg shipment.
