How to know when your package is arriving Nigeria

If you've bought things at US websites such as Amazon or eBay from Nigeria and the items have been shipped to Nigeria from your US shipping agent, one thing I'm sure you'd like to know is when your package or shipment would be arriving or get delivered to your address.

I recently received a package from DHL which was sent from my US shipping agent and one thing I first did was check the tracking details on the DHL website. Using the tracking number given to you by your US package forwarding provider to know the status of your shipment is one way you can easily get to know the location of your package and you can use it to track it's movement all the way till it gets to your doorstep.

For most packages I've received in Nigeria, I've received them through DHL - An international parcel delivery service provider. DHL has a website that allows people to track their items till it gets to their doorstep. You can use the tracking number given to you when your item has shipped to know which day it will arrive Nigeria and also know when it's out for delivery to your address.

When the tracking status of your package says it's with the Delivery courier, then it means that it's been sent to you that same day and if you are in Lagos for instance, you should try being at your delivery address to collect it or have someone collect it on your behalf.
